Important Announcement: Closure of Southeast Pet Hospital

We want to share an important update regarding Southeast Pet Hospital. After much thoughtful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close this location. The last day of appointments will be September 11th, 2026, with support services, including medical record pick up and care coordination, available throughout our closure process.

Please know this was not an easy choice, and it was made with the goal of continuing to offer the highest level of service and care. After September 11th, all patient care will be consolidated at our main hospital, Whittier Dog and Cat Hospital.

Your Pets' Care Will Continue Seamlessly

There is no need to request any transfer of your pet's medical records as part of this transition. All records have already been securely transferred to Whittier Dog and Cat Hospital. For vaccine records and basic medical history, you can also utilize the PetDesk app for quick access.

If you choose not to continue care at our main location or sister location, you can request your pet's complete medical records by emailing southeastph@yourvetdoc.com. Electronic copies will be emailed within 3 to 5 business days. Physical records can also be requested, though these may take longer to process.

For Emergency and Urgent Care Needs

If your pet requires emergency or urgent care outside of business hours, please refer to the emergency providers listed on our website. For urgent care or emergencies during business hours, please contact Whittier Dog and Cat Hospital or Washington Boulevard Animal Hospital.

Managing Prescriptions and Treatments

For ongoing prescriptions, refills can be managed through our online pharmacy and the PetDesk app, ensuring you have uninterrupted access to your pet's medications.
